WCHA Rookie of the Week
Haley Irwin, Fr., F, Minnesota Duluth
Haley Irwin, a freshman forward from Thunder Bay, Ontario, had a goal in each game as Minnesota Duluth went into first place in the WCHA by sweeping North Dakota, 9-2 and 3-2, this past weekend.
Irwin had a goal and four assists in the series opener on Nov. 3 and finished the weekend with two goals and four assists. Irwin is currently tied for second as a point leader for Minnesota Duluth (4-6-10) in her first 10 collegiate games.
Also nominated this week were: Jen Schoullis, F, Minnesota; Lisa Edman, F, Minnesota State; Stephanie Roy, F, North Dakota; and Jenna Kilpatrick, Ohio State.
