UMD Defeats North Dakota Easy.. 9-2 in First of Weekend Series

North Dakota kept it close in the first period, with the period ending 4-2, and UMD swarmed the rest of the game, winning 9-2... UMD outshoots NoDak 50-30 for the game, with most of the Sioux shots in the first period.

Amy Meyer played a good part of the third period, seeing her first action of the season. I only got to listen to parts of the game (on the radio), and will post the News Tribune's story when it's online.
