In what was relatively obvious, Sara O'Toole is the WCHA.com offensive player of the week. Her 6 points (4 goals 2 assists) in the UMD 6-0 win over SCSU made that a lock, in my mind.
While Kim Martin could have been the league's pick for rookie of the week, she instead received the Defensive Player of the Week for her 31 stops in that same Saturday game against SCSU.
The Rookie of the Week, btw, was Kelli Blankenship from the Gophers.
