WCHA Rookie of the Week
Jamie Rasmussen, D, Minnesota Duluth
Oct. 17, 2006 - The University of Minnesota Duluth's Jamie Rasmussen, a freshman defenseman from Garden Grove, Calif., had three assists in the unbeaten Bulldogs' 4-0 victory over North Dakota last Saturday (Oct. 14). UMD also recorded a 5-0 win over the Sioux last Sunday (Oct. 15) to complete the WCHA sweep.
A participant in the last two USA Women's Development Camp's in Lake Placid, N.Y., she was named the California-Selects Defenseman of the Year for the past four years (2001-2002 to 2004-2005).
