UMD finished the sweep today, the game is 6-1 in the middle of the 3rd period right now. Saara Tuominen stood out with 2 goals (so far) today and Myriam Trepanier has a goal and a couple assists. Riitta Schaublin wasn't tested much so far this game, as Martin really wasn't yesterday.
UMD hosts North Dakota next weekend at 3 pm both days. Anyone going to the men's game Saturday might as well leave early and make it a doubleheader. You can catch the women's game, then use the downtown area for dinner, then catch the men's game against U-Mass-Lowell. The Vikings are off next sunday also so the 3 pm hockey game would give people something to do next Sunday afternoon.
